There are so many different sectors/companies advertising their wares these days that I find it very confusing. So basically I am asking for some good advice on where to start please.

So many options and we can never be sure if they are a good bet or not. I have heard though that Asia is going to be the place to be.
I’ve been reading up quite a lot on this and I think that Health Care is a good bet at the minute. As with any investment you still need to be careful though so don’t put all your money in straight away do a little at a time and then you will be more protected.
Sorry but I disagree! Of course it’s only my opinion but I think the way to go is with utilities. I am an investor and one of my best returns recently has been from utilities so I am laughing all the way to the bank.
Thank you all for your advice. I’m a bit unsure about Asia but having seen that there are good returns with utilities I’m going to bite the bullet and invest in some of those.

People are always scared of the unknown but I’m telling you Asia is going to be right up there. Keep an eye on it and you will see I’m sure.

jLouiseprk I want to know!! Did you invest in utilities and if so is it working for you? I myself am also at the stage where I want to invest but I don't know where to start which is why I found this forum. Should it be property? Should it be utilities??
Hi! Thanks for being interested! I did and I got the advice of a specialist in utility investments for small-time people like me and yes I am doing quite well. It's not a quick fix thing and obviously market-dependant but yes I am pleased with my decision.

What do you guys thing of overseas investment?
I stick by my guns on that. You know where you are with utilities. Property markets, especially overseas, can be unpredictable and you don't always want your money tied up in foreign markets in currencies which are not your own. Risky business that.
I have read several threads on this forum in fact about investing in property overseas. Have a look. They make for very interesting reading. I found out about all sorts of things I never knew existed! Real estate perids for one. Look it up, it's great for smaller investors like me.
Have you invested? I will have a look. I am still torn between utilities and property. I am certainly not interested in Bitcoin or anything like that, I want the traditional markets.
Not yet but I am seriously considering it.
